(14:58:35) powerman: Size of subscriber list doesn't matter so much. I'm pretty sure linux kernel, or even gentoo-user maillists are much larger. I think it's just software is slow - just use ezmlm and maillist will become amazingly fast.

(22:06:19) powerman: hm. parsing json in Go took 1.6 sec, in Limbo with JIT took 2.8 sec, in C (Perl XS) took 0.5 sec.

(22:10:17) powerman: I understood why things like regex or math in Go may be slower than in C in few times, but that's wrong with simple parsing code - isn't it should be as fast as C?
