(10:35:14) mjl-: base2design: i was thinking about the same type of thing for dis (appending data at the end).  but if i were to write the parser for dis files, i would probably make it complain if there was crap past the end of the dis contents.  i didn't even bother to check what inferno actually does...

(15:24:48) base2design: mjl: one problem with what i did with appending contents was that one os i ported this to (can't remember which... this was on osx/solaris/various linux/win32, treated the resulting binaries as corrupt (since i totally ignored the native object file format).

(15:46:04) anth_x: the only other thing that bugs me about every inferno program i write is that they all need to include draw.m, even if they're not graphical.
