(13:38:49) mjl-: in short, it lets you rewrite font requests of the form:  program.fontname.fontstyle.fontsize
(13:39:13) powerman: any solution which allow to increase font size for all elements (wm/sh had configurable font for main window, but not for popup menu afair) is good enough for me. monitors and resolutions are large nowadays, while I still prefer text-console-like size of fonts

(13:39:47) mjl-: ah, that should work.  fontsrv also has an option set the screens dpi.  a cheap way to increase fonts in all programs.
