(14:47:34) mjl-: it's still 640x480 for plan 9 & mac os x.  i can do plan 9 later, don't have a mac os x to test on.  plan 9 & mac os x still default to 640x480
(14:48:19) mjl-: on windows it's the "work space area" minus 40 pixels for horizontal & vertical.  on x11 it's the screen size minus 80 pixels for horizontal & vertical
(14:50:14) powerman: mac os x nowadays works good enough in vmware. installation is painful, but can be avoided by fetching preinstalled vmware image. not sure, but good enough for testing emu-on-mac

(16:17:48) mjl-: ok, i just put a new emuq.exe online.  it has the sane-default-resolution patch, an option to launch a wm/sh early /lib/wmsetup (use debug=1 in the config), and makes sure not to ask for ssh-dsa & ssh-rsa keys for sftp
