(19:05:02) sl: charon's rendering of html is a bit prettier than mothra's. we've added some useful features to mothra but tackling the textview is not easy if you want to retain mothra's simplicity.
(19:05:40) Aram: to be honest I never tried any browser under p9/inferno.
(19:05:46) Aram: I just gave up from the beginning.
(19:07:36) sl: in some cases, mothra is now superior to other browsers -- for example, when surfing google images, or in some cases, flickr.
(19:07:53) sl: since it is ignorant of javascript it ignores attempts to restrict saving images.

(19:11:47) sl: Aram: for full-featured surfing i currently run chromium on openbsd in an equis window. i installed a gigabit switch and the lag is not bad at all.

(19:59:08) Aram: I agree. when working, the stuff I care on the Internet is easily handled by a textual browser, and when not working I don't use Plan9 or Inferno anyway.
