(06:31:15) ngharo: Greetings.  I notice the tarball on the google project page is pretty out of date.  Would it be best for a new user to compile from source?

(07:47:41) leetspete: ngharo: The "hosted" mode is because Inferno has a VM which can run in userspace.  No Virtualbox needed. :)
(07:52:10) leetspete: The tarball is dated, but is provided as a way to speed up the pull of the repo.  If you unpack it and `hg pull`, you'll be up to date.
