(04:16:02) jobo: i tagged the binary in "xp compatibility mode" but it doesn't seem to make a difference in the slow start time (takes about 20 seconds to start).
(04:16:44) jobo: i'm not a experienced (or willing) windows user so i'm not too sure how to debug this... looking at random system logs for clues but nothing obvious shows up.

(16:25:45) jobo: yshurik: have you and charles considered merging your rpi work into the main line? i sure would like all these efforts to be usable by new comers to inferno. i really hope for a resurgence of interest like erlang has had and indeed think with some love and care, inferno/limbo could fill a space on small systems similar to what erlang has on large systems.

I've also been conspiring with some guy named Rui Carmo to get a slightly easier to cleanly diff source tree.  I could maybe do that today.
