(05:32:47) leetspete1: joe___: There's no drawterm-like client.  But cpu(1) now shoves your local graphics context along to the other machine, so except that drawterm itself doesn't work, it is essentially the same functionality.

(07:42:11) powerman: Because of this you have to use only sh or limbo languages to write apps for Inferno. You can use C to write Inferno "drivers" accessible from Limbo code, but that's not main way to develop for Inferno.

(08:19:07) powerman: Speed is good enough. Limbo apps is fast. Not C speed, of course, but not too much slower.
(08:20:39) powerman: Memory requirement is small, Limbo apps use usually several kilobytes. According to Inferno website it's able to run on hardware with 1MB RAM.

(20:42:57) Miko__: Well, at last it does not occure if i build it with gcc-4.7. The gcc-4.7 linker however complains about not finding a misterious library gcc and gcc_s. So linked with clang, and it does work.
