(09:35:04) leetspete1: kencc is distributed with Inferno and is used to build the kernel for native ports.
(09:35:47) leetspete1: The footnotes in question are that you can link basically anything into the kernel and expose it to the userspace without much trouble.

(09:36:58) leetspete1: So you could use the 8c/8l/etc.  What are you trying to do with them?

(09:40:47) leetspete1: Yeah, Inferno doesn't run native executables.  It was intended, as I understand, to compete with Java.
